Funeral services will be held Friday, September 4, 2009 at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church honoring the life of Bryce Philip Mitchell, 3 month old, who died Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital.

He will be laid to rest at Lake Lawn Metairie Cemetery Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. William Blanda and Rev. Greg Chauvin officiating the services.

He is survived by his parents, Greg and Colleen Connell Mitchell; five brothers, Quinn, Gabriel, Brendan, Evan and Kolbe Mitchell; paternal grandparents Ernest and Barabra Mitchell; maternal grandmother, Jeanette Lehman; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Donald Connell.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, September 4, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service, with a rosary to be prayed at 11:30 a.m.
