Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 5, 2009 at a 1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Eva Marie Meaux, 80, who died Friday, September 4, 2009 at Abbeville General Hospital.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.

She is survived by her siblings, Linda Trahan, and host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Felician Meaux and the former Lydie Gaspard; and siblings, Harold Meaux, Louis Meaux, Mary Lou Trahan.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, September 4, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, September 5, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service
