Lorenia Marie Broussard
February 14, 1935 — May 6, 2017
She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon Cody Miller officiating the services. Pallbearers will be her six oldest grandsons, Seth Broussard, Elliot Broussard, Dustin Broussard, Colby Broussard, Matthew Broussard and Drake Broussard. Honorary pallbearers will be Kyle Choate and Cain Hebert.
She is survived by her sons, Bradly Broussard of Perry and Kevin Broussard of Abbeville; daughters, Tamara Broussard of St. Martinville, Brenda Broussard of Abbeville, Loma Broussard of Lafayette, Roxanne Broussard of Perry, Teena Broussard of Abbeville and Michelle Broussard of Abbeville; fifteen grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Savan Broussard; parents, Cladies LeBouef and the former Malozie Guidry; two sons, Rody Broussard and Jason Broussard; sister, Wanda LeBouef; grandson, Jabian Broussard and two daughters-in-law, Goldie and Jamie Broussard.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 12:00 PM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Monday, May 8, 2017 from 8:00 AM until time of services.
