Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Paul Daniel Graves, 71, who died Sunday, September 6, 2009 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-two years, Lucia Graves of Kaplan; five sons, Brandon "Bubba" Graves of Morgan City, Michael Paul Graves of Morgan City, Claudio Delira of Kaplan, Larry Ray Smith of Morgan City, and Jean Delira of Brazil; three daughters, Claudette Irene Graves of McIntosh, Alabama, Naomi Graves of Brownsville, Texas, and Barbara Graves of Kaplan; two sisters, Naomi Graves Jones of Gulfport, Mississippi and JoAnn Duncan of Mt. Hermon, Louisiana; fourteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and numerous loving nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Delton Graves and the former Daisy Moak; one brother, Sammuel Graves; and one uncle, Leroy Graves.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, September 7, 2009 from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m.; Tuesday, September 08, from 8 a.m until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Wednesday, September 09, from 8 a.m. until services.
