Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Hazel Fevrejean Broussard, 82, who passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services.

She is survived by her son, Ronald Duhon and his wife, Rita of Gueydan; three daughters, Claudean Duhon of Kaplan, Renella Livers of Kaplan, and Suzette Broussard of Kaplan; one sister, Eula Mae Lormand of Crowley; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pershing John Broussard; one son, Garland Joseph Duhon; one grandson, Seth Melancon; her parents, Alexandre Fevrejean and the former Marguerite Gaspard; six brothers; and two sisters.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 8:00 AM until the procession departs for the church.
