Kaplan—Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Kaplan Cemetery honoring the life of Leah Rost, 80, who passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon Kyle White officiating the services.

She is survived by her son, Bobby Rost of Gretna; three daughters, Ann Katharine Strain of Metairie, Deborah Bullock of Arkansas, and Lisa Jones of Covington; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and one sister, Hazel Doucet of Kaplan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Rost; her parents, Joseph Racca and the former Amenthe Baudoin; two brothers, Levan Racca and Leroy Racca; and one sister, Una Primeaux.
