Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Garchin Stelly, 67, who died Saturday, June 24, 2017 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at LeMaire Cemetery with Reverend Matthew Barzare officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Joyce Stelly of Kaplan; two daughters, Deanie David of Abbeville and Christy Stelly of Abbeville; two step-sons, Lee Mire of Abbeville and Anthony Mire of Abbeville; one step-daughter, Neah Abshire of Maurice; his father, Gorchin Stelly, Sr. of Forked Island; three sisters, Belva Gaspard, Mary Stelly, and Linda Stelly; two brothers, Michael Stelly and Roland Stelly; eleven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Brent Stelly; and his mother, Irene Stelly.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 from 8:00 AM until services with a rosary being prayed at 10:30 AM.
