Florence Marie Judge

January 12, 1959 — June 30, 2017

Kaplan—Florence Marie Judge, 58, returned to her heavenly home on June 30, 2017. She passed away at her residence after a valiant battle with a prolonged illness, surrounded by family and friends. Her devotion to her family and firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace.

Florence was born January 12, 1959 to the late Carlton Judge and Anna Mae Rogers. A lifelong resident of Kaplan, Florence's greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Kishna Nicholas (Melvin) of Houma; two sons, Kuehlin Boudreaux, III (Skyla) of Kaplan and Kenneth Boudreaux, Jr. of Kaplan; six sisters, Rebecca Giggles (Thomas) of Lakewood, CA, Mary Lou Judge of Maurice, Vanessa Judge of Rayne, Marie Derouen of Gueydan, Stacy Johnson of Houston, TX, and Sally Ann Judge of Lake Charles; three brothers, Henry Judge of Marksville, Lloyd Hebert of Lakewood, CA, and Jimmy Judge of Port Arthur, TX; 22 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna Mae Rogers-Dominque and Carlton Judge; two brothers, Clarence Rogers and Belton Judge, Sr.; one sister, Orelia Judge; and her step-father, Lloyd Dominque.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at New Beginnings Primitive Baptist Church (622 E. Veterans Memorial Drive, Kaplan, LA) on Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM with services beginning at 11:00 AM. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Pastor Elder Ernest Williams, III officiating the services.
