Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Friday, September 25, 2009 at a 2 p.m. mass at St. Anne Catholic Church honoring the life of Amble David Jr., 57, who died Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at his sister's residence. Reverend Randall Moreau will be officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife, Sally Robicheaux David of Pineville; two daughters, Katie and her husband Toby LeMaire of Abbeville and Laci David of Lafayette; two grandchildren, Caroline and Evan LeMaire of Abbeville; two sisters, Loretta and her husband Gerald Broussard of Cow Island and Lola Potier of Cow Island; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Amble David Sr. and the former Nickquline Guidry.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, September 24, 2009 from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 8 p.m.; Friday, September 25, from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
