Ethel Lee Day Head

June 12, 1942 — July 19, 2017

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 21, 2017 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Ethel Lee Day Head, 75, who died Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Maison du Monde Living Center. She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery.

Ethel was a godly woman who will be missed dearly and will always remain in our hearts. She was a one of a kind awesome wife, mother and friend. She loved to cook, fish, laugh and dance; she truly had a joyful spirit. God has a true angel watching over all of us. She was a spiritual woman who loved everyone unconditionally and never made judgement on anyone.

Ethel is survived by her sisters, Barbra Ann Dempsey and Julie Feliciano; daughters, Brenda Hebert, Tyra LeBlanc and her husband Rickey, Angela Head and Karen Head; son, Stewart Lee Head and his wife Stacy; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; mother, Christine Davis Day; father, Albert Stevenson Day; husband, Clarence Dame Head; sister, Linda Day Ruff; brother, Gillis Day; daughters, Debie Head, Virginia Redman and Patricia Lee Head Trahan; sons, twin boys; grandson, Daniel Cary Redman; and son-in-law, Raywood Hebert and Hubert Trahan.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 3:00 PM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Friday, July 21, 2017 from 8:00 AM until time of service.
