Danielle "Den" Abshire

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Danielle Uriegas Abshire, 43, who died Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Lafayette General Medical Center. She will be laid to rest at Suire Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of nine years, Lonnie Gale Abshire of Kaplan; one son, Paul "Possum" Stelly of Kaplan; two step children, Benji Abshire and his wife, Mariea of Nunez and Lonnie Isgett and his wife, Carolynn of Cleveland; her mother, Alice Touchet of Maurice; one sister, Ashley R. Uriegas of Maurice; one brother, Willie Uriegas, III of Maurice; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Uriegas, Jr.; paternal grandfather, Willie Uriegas, Sr.; paternal grandmother, Marlene C. Uriegas; maternal grandfather, Eldridge Touchet, Sr.; mother-in-law, Theresa Abshire; father-in-law, Avery L. Abshire; three uncles; and two cousins, Marcus Reed and Colt Touchet.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Friday, July 21, 2017 from 4:00 PM until the services with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM.
