O.J. Mouton

January 23, 1939 — September 25, 2009

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 27, 2009 at a 3 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne Catholic Church honoring the life of O.J. Mouton, 70, who died Friday, September 25, 2009 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend William Rogalla officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Abshire Mouton of Perry; three sons, Chris Mouton of Perry, Byron Mouton of Oakdale and Neil Mouton of Forked Island; one daughter, Myra Kapnicky of Perry; thirteen grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lovelace Mouton and the former Verna Harrington; and one brother, Daleand Mouton.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Saturday, September 26, 2009 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Sunday, September 27, from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
