Pecan Island—Funeral services will be held Friday, October 2, 2009 at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church honoring the life of Bristol James Lege, 46, who died Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at Abbeville General Hospital. He will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery with Reverend Randall Moreau officiating the services.

He is survived by his parents, Dalton Lege and Shirley Conner Lege of Pecan Island; two brothers, Timothy W. Lege and his wife, Tlisa of Erath and Blaine Lege and his wife, Tracey of Kaplan; two sisters, Bridget and her husband, Bryan Strother of Youngsville and Shannon Lege of Pecan Island.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Elie and Azemie Lege; and his maternal grandparents, Alga and Mayvel Conner.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Hall, Thursday, October 1, 2009 from 1 p.m. until services on Friday, October 2, 2009. A rosary will be prayed Thursday at 8 p.m.
