Zella Chargois

July 17, 1924 — September 29, 2009

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 3, 2009 at a 12;00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Chapel honoring the life of Zella Chargois, 85, who died Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at Vermilion Health Care Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.

She is survived by two sons, Doway St. Julien of San Diego California and George Wallace St. Julien of Kaplan; three daughters, Leona Marie St. Julien of Kaplan, Barbara Ann St. Julien of Kaplan and Lillian Jean Allen Mouton of Kaplan; sixteen grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Doway Chargois and the former Leona Mitchell; her husband, Wallace "Red" St. Julien; one brother, McKinly Chargois; and one sister, Rosenella Thibeaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Saturday, October 3, 2009 from 7 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
