Yolande Roche Bonin

January 29, 1917 — October 24, 2009

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at a 2 pm Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Yolande Roche Bonin, 92, who died Saturday, October 24, 2009 at her residence surrounded by her three sons and beloved family members. She will be laid to rest at Cossinade Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services. Mrs. Yolande grew up in the Cossinade area and had many fond memories of her youth there. Serving as pallbearers will be Eric Bonin, Wesley Bonin, Shane Bonin, Aimee Gaudet, Chelsey Fulkerson and Angela Baudoin.

She is survived by her three sons, Ronnie Bonin and his wife, Joyce of Abbeville, Charles Bonin and his wife, Carrie of Kaplan and Kenneth Bonin Sr. and his wife, Priscilla of Fernley, Nevada; eleven grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Bonin; and all of her brothers and sisters.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, October 26, 2009 from 9 am until 9 pm with a rosary being prayed at 7 pm; Tuesday, October 27, from 8 am until 1:45 pm when the procession will depart for the church.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Randall Faulk for the love and care he provided to Maw Maw Bonin during the last few years. They also wish to thank the caregivers for the care and comfort they provided- Jill Bonin, Nita LeBouef, Mae McTee, Mildred Schexnider and Julie Landry.
