Dudley John Lege

November 5, 1924 — October 26, 2009

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Dudley John Lege, 84, who died Monday, October 26, 2009 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon Cody Miller officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Deanna Comeaux Lege of Kaplan; his only son, Gerard Evans Lege and his wife Rowena of Kaplan; one sister, Gladys Hardy of Ponce Inlet, Florida; one granddaughter, Jordon Lege Thomas and her husband Garrett of Mineral Wells, Texas; and one great granddaughter, Anna Kate Thomas of Mineral Wells, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adamer Lege and the former Adola Romero; four brothers, Roland, Milton, Murphy and Lloyd Lege; five sisters, Lorraine Lege, Lucy Weise, Lillian Valentine, Ouida Lege and Lillie Mae Farley.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, October 26, 2009 from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, October 27, from 8 a.m. until services.
