Sadie Faulk Duhon

September 22, 1940 — October 27, 2009

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 29, 2009 at a 1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Sadie Faulk Duhon, 69, who died Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at Lafayette General Medical Center.

She will be laid to rest at Abshire Cemetery with Reverend Joseph Breaux officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Kyle Duhon, Kade Duhon, Scotty Mitchell, Terril Faul, Timmy Bodin and Errol Domingue.

She is survived by her husband, Carrol J. Duhon of Abbeville; two sons, Curt Duhon and wife Mitzi of Abbeville and Kevin Duhon and wife Marcie of Myrtle Beach, SC; one daughter, Kala Duhon of Abbeville; five grandchildren, Kyle Duhon of Abbeville, Kade Duhon of Abbeville, Dylon Duhon of Myrtle Beach, SC, Sammie Kay Duhon of Myrtle Beach, SC and Kole Breaux of Abbeville; and a sister, Beverly Mitchell of Delcambre.

She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Etta Touchet Faulk; and a sister, Leanna Siegrist.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 from 12:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Thursday, October 29, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.

In the lieu of flowers donations may be made in Sadie F. Duhon's memory to Vermilion Parish 4-H Foundation, 1105 W. Port Street, Abbeville, LA 70510.
