Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Beverly Lormand Decuir, 69, who died Sunday, November 15, 2009 at Regional Medical Center of Acadiana. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.

She is survived by one son, Steven Decuir and his wife Shirley of Kaplan; one sister, Barbara Menard of Houston, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Decuir Jr.; her parents, Ellis and Electa Lormand; her brother, Francis Lormand; her brother-in-law, Milton Decuir; and her sister-in-law, Vivian Decuir.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 from 8 a.m. until services. A rosary will be prayed at 11 a.m.
