Paul Murphy Palombo

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Paul Murphy Palombo, 89, who died Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Franklin Health Care Center.

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend William C. Blanda officiating the services.

A native of Abbeville and resident of Franklin.
He is survived by four daughters, Lena Mae Palombo of Baton Rouge, Verna L. Palombo Davis of Denham Springs, Mary Borel of Jeanerette and Loretta Borel of New Iberia; nine grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Annie Mae LeBlanc Palombo; his parents Cynace and Bridgette Theriot Palombo; eight brothers, Luther Palombo, Sr, General Palombo, Joseph Palombo, Antoine Palombo, Hubert Palombo, Issac Palombo, Herbert Palombo and Eldridge Palombo; four sisters, Melva P. Harrington, Melvina P. Guidry, Elvina P. Decuir and his twin, Myrtle P. Campbell and one great grandchild, Billy Paul Novak .

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Thursday, November 19, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
