Wilda H. Gaspard

April 2, 1924 — November 19, 2009

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Wilda Harrington Gaspard, 85, who died Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She will be laid to rest at St. Anne Cemetery with Reverend Randall Moreau officiating the services.

She is survived by her two sons, Garland Gaspard and his wife, Linda C. of Kaplan and Timmy Gaspard and his wife Barbara S. of Forked Island; five grandchildren, Tristan Gaspard of Forked Island, Tilden Gaspard of Kingwood,TX, Crystal Conner of Forked Island, Carissa Meaux of Forked Island and Timberly Guidry of Forked Island; and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Reynald "Enie" Gaspard; her parents, Ovelia Harrington and the former Ozea Hargrave; three brothers; and two sisters.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, November 20, 2009 from 3 pm until 10 pm with a rosary being prayed at 7 pm; Saturday, November 21, from 8 am until services.
