She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services. Pallbearers include Scott Hargrave, Shawn Hargrave, Michael Schexnaider, Jr., Christopher Breaux, Jade Ronsonette and Ricky Montagne, Jr. Honorary pallbearers include Blaine Ronsonette and Trey Montagne.
She is survived by her husband, Ricky D. Montagne, Sr. of Abbeville; two sons, Trey Montagne and Michael Schexnaider, Jr. both of Abbeville; three step sons, Ricky D. Montagne, Jr. of Georgia, Brody Montagne of Georgia, and Richard Montagne of Florida; two daughters, Paige Schexnaider of Abbeville and Shae Montagne of Erath; one step daughter, Lexia Montagne of Georgia; her father, Kenneth P. Hargrave and wife Mona of Abbeville; her mother, Nancy Suire and her significant other Daryl Granger of Erath; four brothers, Scott Hargrave of Abbeville, Shawn Hargrave and his significant other Connie, Jade Ronsonette and Blaine Ronsonette all of Delcambre; aunt, Lee; mother-in-law Lydia Montagne of Abbeville; grandchildren, Orey and Shelby Montagne; maternal grandparents, Percy and Sally Conner of Seattle WA and Bill Suire of Blanco, TX; and paternal grandparent, Lena Schexnaider Hargrave of Abbeville.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparent, Wilson Hargrave; godfather, David Wilson Hargrave; maternal grandparent, Rosemary Suire; godmother, Julie Prejean; uncle, Billy Suire; brother-in-law, Daniel Montagne, Jr.; aunt, Leona Gary; and father-in-law, Daniel Montagne, Jr.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, November 23, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.; Tuesday, November 24, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Wednesday, November 25, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
