Hulan Doniece Boothe

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 29, 2009 at Kaplan Baptist Church honoring the life of Hulan Doniece Boothe, 86, who died Thursday, November 26, 2009 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. He will be laid to rest at the Nunez Baptist Cemetery with Reverend Noah Langley officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Frances B. Boothe of Kaplan; one son, Owen L. Boothe and his wife, Linda of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Helen B. and her husband, Keith Meaux of Kaplan; five grandchildren, Rebecca Boothe Giacone of Baton Rouge, Kyle E. Meaux of Kaplan, Thomas K. Meaux and his wife, Krystle of Lafayette, James A. Meaux of Kaplan and Stephen D. Meaux of Kaplan; two great grandchildren, Sarah Giacone of Baton Rouge and Chloe Meaux of Kaplan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Howell Boothe and the former Fannie Willie; one sister, Thelma Boothe McKinstry; two brothers, Wm. Herbert Boothe and his twin brother, Huston Boothe; and one daughter, Nancy Marie Boothe.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Saturday, November 28, 2009 from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m.; Sunday, November 29, from 10 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
