Ray Francis Lormand

He will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Father Brad Guillory officiating the services.
Ray was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved to fish and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and never met a stranger.
He is survived by his wife, Hilda Marie Baudoin Lormand; three daughters, Brenda Lormand, Sandy Estilette and husband Eric, and Cheryl Clausen and husband Don, all of Lafayette; two grandchildren Christy Taylor and Shannon Hart and husband Chris; and three great grandchildren, Brittany Castete, Tiffany Castete and Cameron Picard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Rose Broussard Lormand; a brother, Ernest Lormand; niece, Barbara Gayle Lormand and a nephew Galen Lormand.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, November 30, 2009 from 2:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
