He will be laid to rest at Lege Cemetery with Rev. Anthony Rice officiating the services.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Lege Primeaux; four sons, Louis-Michael Primeaux, Hal Primeaux, William Primeaux and Carl Primeaux; four daughters, Ruby Primeaux, Elizabeth Ann Primeaux, Rebecca Ann Primeaux and Tina Primeaux; four step-children, Susan Stoute, Dalton Stoute, Randy Stoute and Benjamin Stoute; sister, Verline Menard; one half-brother, Douglas C. Primeaux; half-sisters, Sharon Primeaux and Chris Ann Primeaux; seventeen grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas Primeaux and the former Euphemie Bourque; one daughter, Bonny Sue Primeaux; one son, Dudley Charles Primeaux and one sister, Shirley Landry.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.; Wednesday, December 2, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
