Preston Broussard

October 8, 1917 — December 9, 2009

—Memorial services will be held Monday, December 14, 2009 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church honoring the life of Preston Broussard, 92, who died Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Long Term Acute Care of Acadiana.

He will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services.

He is survived by his one son, Preston Bryan Broussard, Jr. and wife Cathy of Abbeville; two daughters, Cheryl LeBlanc and husband Jeffery of Lake Arthur and Susan Willis and husband Carl of Broussard; granchildren, Chad LeBlanc and wife Noelle of Charlotte, NC, Jeremy Willis of Broussard, Jill Ortego and husband Darren of Walker, Blake Willis and wife Stacey of Houma, Seth Broussard and wife Kristen of Rayne and Hope Manafi and husband Jon of Lafayette and eleven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalie Spain Broussard; parents, Clobule Broussard and the former Zulmae Miguez; four sisters, Rita Huval, Bella Mallet, Dula Bernard and Lula Mouton and one brother, Dewey Broussard.
