Selima "Tina" Savoy Reynolds

November 12, 1916 — December 18, 2009

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Selima “Tina” Savoy Reynolds, 93, who died Friday, December 18, 2009 at Maison De Lafayette.

She will be laid to rest at Graceland Cemetery with Dr. Steve Horn and Reverend Noah Langley officiating the services. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

She is survived by two daughters, Nancy R. Frederick and husband Russell of Abbeville and Terrie R. Levie and husband Barry of Broussard; two sons, William Reynolds, Jr., and wife Patricia of Dallas TX. and Robert Reynolds and wife Cathy of Carrollton, TX; sister-in-law, Leontine Savoy; niece, Connie Savant; nephew, Glenn Savoy; eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Lane Reynolds; father, Fernest Savoy; mother Elizabeth Baudoin Savoy; four brothers, Lloyd, Rex, Willie Joseph and Nedes Savoy and a sister Jeanne Savoy.

Mrs. Reynolds’s family would like to offer a special thanks to her sitters, Bertha, Evanna, Theresa and Linda along with the staff at Maison DeLafayette and Hospice of Acadianda.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, December 21, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
