Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 29, 2006 at Vincent Funeral Home Chapel honoring the life of Chester Paul Broussard, 85, who died June 27, 2006 at Abbeville General Hospital.
He will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Deacon Chris Mouton officiating the services.
He was a veteran of the United States Army who served our country during World War II. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4158.
He is survived by one sister, Eldora Landry of Delcambre.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Trahan Broussard, his parents, Clesme Broussard and the former Clodora Vincent; brothers, Theodore Broussard, Wilbert Broussard, Clifford Broussard and C.M. Broussard Jr.; and sisters, Laura Boudreaux, Lota Menard, Loria Roberts, Etta Romero and Louise Romero.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Wednesday, June 28th from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00p.m.; Thursday, June 29th from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
