Mary Guidry Pelletier

April 3, 1918 — June 27, 2006

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 29th, 2006 at a 10:00a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Theresa Catholic Church honoring the life of Mary Guidry Pelletier, 88, who died June 27th, 2006 at Abbeville General Hospital.
She will be laid to rest in Graceland Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services. Pallbearers will be six of her grandsons.
She is survived by two daughters, Victoria P. Thompson and Gloria P. Ramke both of Abbeville; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; two foster sons, Otto Guidry of Abbeville and Lennie Dupuis of Houston TX.
She was preceded in death by one son, Elton Pelletier; parents, Albert Guidry and the former Victoria Legros; siblings, Claude Guidry, Leodis Guidry, Irene G. Fruge, Louise Guidry, Olive June and Estelle Thibodeaux; and stepdaughters, Stella Rousso and Mildred Plesala.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Wednesday, June 28th from 8:00a.m. until 10:00p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00p.m.; and Thursday, June 29th from 8:00a.m. until time of services.
