Lily Mae Luquette Hebert

September 27, 1927 — January 3, 2010

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at a Mass of Christian at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church honoring the life of Lily Mae Luquette Hebert, 82, who died Sunday, January 3, 2010 at her residence.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Scotty Touchet, Shane Hebert, Buddy Richard, Russell Suire, Jr., Cody Hebert, Jacob LeBouef and Ron Lege. Honorary pallbearers will be Corey Touchet, Brady Touchet, Quenton Hebert, Jace Richard and Bryce LeBouef.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Dalton Hebert, Sr. of Abbeville; three sons, Joseph Dalton Hebert, Jr. and wife Cheryl of Erath, Frank Hebert and wife Cindy of Erath and Albert Hebert and wife Charlene of Abbeville; three daughters, Patsy Touchet and husband Earl of Abbeville, Gloria Richard and husband Glenn of Erath and Phyllis LeBouef of Abbeville; one brother, Joseph B. Luquette of Gonzales; one sister, Dorothy Dailey of Crowley; twenty-five grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Adrian Luquette and the former Maria Lezina Meaux; one daughter, Theresa Suire and three siblings.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, January 4, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. The family will reopen on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
