Louis Benoit Perry

October 11, 1921 — January 6, 2010

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 8, 2010 at Abbeville United Methodist Church honoring the life of Louis Benoit Perry, 88, who died Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Abbeville General Hospital.

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend John Vining officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Lennes Hebert, Markus Breaux, Louis Primeaux, Chad Breaux, Jimmy Lege, Jeremy LeBlanc, Garrotte Hebert and Cody Hebert.

He is survived by his step daughter, Verline Primeaux Menard; step daughter-in-law, Helen Lege Primeaux; nephews, Leo Perry, Robert Perry, Jr., Michael Perry and Danny Perry; twenty step grandchildren and numerous step great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Euphemie Bourque Perry; parents, Oscar Perry and the former Euphelia Marie Harrington; step daughter, Shirley Landry; step son, Dudley Primeaux; three brothers, Lee Perry, Robert Perry and Dallas Perry and three sisters, Mayola Murry, May Grace Wesley and Bessie Schoen.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Thursday, January 7, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; Friday, January 8, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until time of sevices.
