Joycie Nell Hulin Broussard

January 12, 1929 — January 6, 2010

Abbeville-Funeral services will be held Friday, January 8, 2010 at a 1:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church honoring the life of Joycie Nell Hulin Broussard, 80, who died Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at her residence.

She will be laid to rest at Bancker Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services.

She is survived by her son, Dwayne Broussard, J.D. of Marshall, TX; five daughters, Leigh Rodrigue and husband Myron of Abbeville, Georgette Pierce and husband John of Abbeville, Sue Broussard of Abbeville, Francine Broussard of Erath and Tracy Gremillion and husband Chris of Youngsville; grandchildren, Jennifer Joy Pierce, Cory Rodrigue, Janna R. Bain, Rachel R. Pothier, Adam Rodrigue, Sgt. Brandon Broussard, Sarah and Logan Greeson, Brittney Broussard, Cole and Claire Gremillion and Donna P. Menard; eleven great grandchildren, and one on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clairville and Louanna Broussard Hulin; a brother, C.J. (June) Hulin; son, Brett Broussard; and husband, George Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Thursday, January 7, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. The family will reopen on Friday, January 8, 2010, from 8 a.m. until time of services.
