Doris "Doo" Langlinais

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Doris “Doo” Langlinais, 71, who died Thursday, January 7, 2010 at Regional Medical Center of Acadiana. He will be laid to rest at Suire Cemetery with Reverend Randall Moreau officiating the services.

He is survived by three sons, Andrew "Jeff" Langlinais of Forked Island, Anthony "Jo Jo" Langlinais of Forked Island and Doris Langlinais Jr. of Mouton Cove; two daughters, Jennifer Suire of Forked Island and Debbie Rodrigue of Gray; two sisters, Judy Stelly of Forked Island and Wilda Mire of Crowley; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Langlinais; parents, John Fremise Langlinais and the former Olive Touchet; and two brothers.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, January 8, 2010 from 9 a.m. until services, with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m. Friday evening.
