Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 14, 2010 at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church honoring the life of Mildred Duhon Trahan, 71, who died Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Leroy Cemetery with Reverend Gregory Simeon officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband, Loudride Trahan of Kaplan; one son, David Trahan of Kaplan; one daughter, Donna and her husband Deral Hebert of Kaplan; one brother, Larry Duhon of Nunez; one sister, Janelle LeMaire of Kaplan; five grandchildren, Tiffany Bearb, Leah Schexnayder, Jade Trahan, Stacey Luczkowiak and Terry Hebert; and six great grandchildren, Collin, Kagen, Kohen, Jenna, Lexi and Bradyn.

She was preceded in death by one son, Timmy Trahan; one brother, Harold Duhon; and her parents, Willie Duhon and the former Levie DeBlanc.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, January 14, 2010 from 8 a.m. until 1:20 p.m. when the procession departs for the church.
