Alfreda Marie Leblanc

August 9, 1919 — January 12, 2010

Abbeville-Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 15, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Alfreda Marie LeBlanc, 90, who died Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.

She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery with Pastor Dwight Derouen officiating the services. Pallbear will be Joseph Bertrand, Sidney Romero, Travis Bertrand, Michael Paul Bertrand,Mitchell Thibeaux, Cody Bertrand and Christopher Bertrand.

She is survived by her three sons, Chester Bertrand and wife Mary of Scott, Charles Bertrand and wife Pamela of Erath and Jessie Bertrand and wife Jean of Erath; step children, Gertrude Comeaux and Rex Bertrand and wife Lilly; brother, Whitney LeBlanc of Abbeville; fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great granchildren; one great great granchild; four step granchildren and four step great granchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Soline Bertrand; Mr. and Mrs. Jeffery LeBlanc and three siblings.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Thursday, January 14, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. ; Friday, January 15, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
