Sava Abshire

October 11, 1990 — January 13, 2010

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Sava Abshire, 19, who died Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Abshire Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be, Lursie Bourque, John Abshire, Darrell Domingue, Lucas Broussard, Donald Paul Vincent, Tommy Abshire, A.J. Fitch and Sava Harrington III.

He is survived by his parents, Sava Harrington III and Tammy Abshire of Kaplan; maternal grandmother, Terry Thompson of Abbeville; paternal grandmother, Beverly Myers of Erath; one brother, Tommy Lane Joseph Abshire of Kaplan; and two sisters, April Dawn Parker of Abbeville and Nicole Fitch of Mississippi.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Joseph Doris Abshire; and paternal grandfather, Sava Harrington.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, January 18, 2010 from 9 a.m. until services with a rosary being prayed at 6 p.m. Monday.
