Gueydan—Funeral services will be held Monday, January 18, 2010 at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Lucille Harrington Hebert, 88, who died Saturday, January 16, 2010 at American Legion Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be grandchildren, Gerald Breaux, Randall Breaux, Anthony Sonnier, Michael Sonnier and Burton Hebert, and great grandchild, Dustin Perry. Mrs. Hebert was a resident of Gueydan Memorial Guest Home and was a dedicated wife and mother. She is survived by her son, Ernest Hebert Jr. of Gueydan; three daughters, Lavonne H. Breaux, Hilda H. Sonnier and Deanna H. and her husband Preston J. Broussard Jr., all of Gueydan; 12 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and 20 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Hebert; and her grandson, P.J. Broussard III. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth Street, on Sunday, January 17, 2010 from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Monday, January 18, from 8 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. when the procession will depart for church.
