Marie Paula Sellers Guidry

April 7, 1933 — January 23, 2010

Abbeville-A memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church honoring the life of Mrs. Stanley Guidry, the former Paula Sellers, 76, who died Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Eastridge Nursing Center.

She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband, Stanley Guidry of Abbeville; two sons, Peter Charles Guidry and wife Mary Landry Guidry of Kaplan and Steven Guidry of Lafayette; one daughter, Claire Marceaux and husband Lovelese Marceaux of Abbeville; one granddaughter, Heather Frederick of Lafayette; two sisters, Ouida Sellers Broussard of Abbeville and Charoltte Sellers Meaux of Lafayette; two step grandchildren, Jacob Gaspard and wife Lacey and Jered Gaspard and wife Monica; and five step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.N. "Nick" Sellers and Stella Theall; two brothers, George Sellers and Harlod Sellers; and two sisters, Yvonne Sellers Bodin and Sr. Stella Marie Sellers.
