Alamae S. Roy

April 29, 1924 — February 2, 2010

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Alamae Scallan Roy, 85, who died Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon Paul Roy Eleazar officiating the services.

She is survived by her son, Ted Roy and his wife, Kim Roberts of Lafayette; two daughters, Judy R. Greene of Kaplan and Donna and her husband, Stan Morvant of Leroy; her niece, Phoebe S. Trahan of Hattiesburg, MS; nine grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis A. Roy; her son, Kim Roy; and her son-in-law, Russell Roy Greene.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 from 9 a.m. until services with a rosary being prayed at 11 a.m.
