Grace Deroun Broussard

Abbeville- Funeral services will be held Friday, July 21, 2006 at a 2:00p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Theresa Catholic Church honoring the life of Grace Deroun Broussard, 86, who died July 19, 2006 at her residence.
She will be laid to rest at Graceland Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services.
Grace graduated from Welsh high in 1937 and then attended Chenier Business College. She was a club member of the Lacoterie de Mercredi and the American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Guy Broussard; two sons, Wayne G. Broussard and his wife Helen Demarcy of Abbeville and Daniel Broussard and his wife Mary Early of Abbeville; two daughters. Patricia Ann Broussard Landeche of Lafayette and Diana Sue Broussard of Mississippi; grandchildren, Dedrick Guy Broussard and his wife Lucia Salines, Austin Wayne Broussard, Cyd Luselle Broussard and her husband Tyrus Nugent, Miranda Grace Broussard, Morgana Helen Broussard, John Edward Broussard, Jeffrey Daniel Broussard, Kimberly Anne Broussard, Ann Marie Broussard, Katherine Michelle Broussard, Wade Landeche and his wife Leslie, Lance Kevin Landeche, and Monique Guilbeau and her husband Larry; and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Adam Deroun and the former Bertha Fontenot; and two brothers, Wilbur Deroun and Wilson Deroun.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Thursday, July 20th from 2:30p.m. until 10:00p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00p.m.; Friday, July 21st from 8:00a.m. until time of services.
