Claude Duhon

November 2, 1926 — February 19, 2010

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Claude Duhon, 83, who died Friday, February 19, 2010 at Abbeville General Hospital. He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Francis Plaisance officiating the services.

Mr. Duhon was a WWII veteran having served in the U. S. Marine Corps.

He is survived by his wife Gaynelle T. Duhon of Abbeville; daughter, Debra Simon of Lafayette; two sons, Corrie J. Duhon of Houma and Brian J. Duhon of Lafayette; one grandson, Jason C. Duhon of Abbeville; one granddaughter, Claudine Duhon of Abbeville; five great grandchildren, Heidi Duhon, Amber Lee, Daynel Hidalgo, Laura Hidalgo and Mia Duhon; one great great grand grandchild, Jayden Duhon and one brother, Walter Duhon of Crowley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theol Duhon and Eugenie Guidry Duhon and two siblings.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, February 21, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service with a rosary to be prayed at noon.
