Funeral services will be held Friday, July 28, 2006 at a 4:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Theresa Catholic Church honoring the life of Yolande L. Picard, 83, who died July 26, 2006 at Abbeville General Hospital.
She will be laid to rest in St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Roland Thibodeaux, Anthony Theriot, Kelby Henry, Cade Vincent, Laxcy J. Vincent, Jr., and Ruston Vincent. Honorary pallbearers will be Brady James Vincent and Paul Wayne Gaspard.
She is survived by two sons, Laxy James Vincent, Sr. and his wife Sue of Abbeville and Loison J. Vincent, Jr. and his wife Joan Of Abbeville; one daughter, Dorothy V. Comeaux and her husband Ray of Abbeville; three brothers, Alphonse Lasseigne of Anahuac, TX., Zervin Lasseigne of Catahoula and Willis Lasseigne of Catahoula; one sister, Corrine Duhon of Houston,TX; ten grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Loison Vincent, Sr., second husband, Charles Picard; one son, Clarence Joseph Vincent;one grandson, Brady James Vincent; parents, Willie and Rita Borel Lasseigne; and six siblings.
The family request that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South Saint Charles, Abbeville, Thursday, July 27th from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Friday, July 28th from 8:00 a.m. until service time
