Beulah Hebert Stansbury Jones

October 23, 1918 — July 31, 2006

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2006, at 2:00pm at Saint Therese Catholic Church in Abbeville, for Beulah Hebert Stansbury Jones who died at 1:55 am Monday, July 31, 2006.
Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Mrs. Jones was born in Theall, Louisiana, to Ovey and Serena Miia Hebert. She was a longtime resident of Abbeville, and resided in Lafayette for the past 12 years. Mrs. Jones was president of Lafayette Distributors, Inc. from 1961 until her death.
She is survived by her two children and their spouses, Mr. and Mrs. Randy (Bridget) Stansbury and Mr. and Mrs. J.W. (Deborah) Austin III of Lafayette; her granddaughters, Kellie Stansbury and Katie Austin of Lafayette; her brother, Dr. Ardly Hebert, of Abbeville; and her sisters Mrs. Robert (Ora) Werner, of Rochester, NY; Mrs. Rowland (Wava) Budden and Mrs. P.M. (Amy) Breaud of Baton Rouge.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Landry Stansbury; her second husband Robert Daniel Jones, Sr.; her parents; brothers, Joseph Gordan Hebert and Irby Hebert, Sr.; and sisters, Mrs. Gabriel (Lydia) Mouton and Mrs. LeRoy (Anita) Amy.
A gathering of family and friends will be observed at Saint Therese Catholic Church from 1 pm until time of services.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to Our Lady of Wisdom Church (at University of Louisiana, Lafayette), the Carmelite Monastery, or Missionaries of Charity, or to the charity of your choice.
