Lloyd Joseph Frederick Sr.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home -
Abbeville honoring the life of Lloyd Joseph Frederick, Sr., 92, who died Monday, February 22, 2010 at Abbeville General Hospital. He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Father Brad Guillory officiating the services.

Mr. Frederick was a veteran of WWII and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his wife, Rita S. Frederick of Abbeville; a son, Lloyd "Jay" Frederick, Jr. and wife Diane of Abbeville; grandchildren, Brian Frederick and wife Jennifer of Lafayette and Erin Segura and husband Christopher of Lafayette; and four great grandchildren, Jordan, Connor, Olivia and Sara-Kate.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Evelyn Frederick; brothers, Aurulian, Orill, Ulgere, Elier, Odeon and Bernard Frederick; and a sister, Mercedes F. Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
