Funeral services will be held Friday, August 04, 2006 at a 2:00p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Perpetual Help honoring the life of Mrs. Augustin (Laura Mae Baker) Vincent, 91, who died August 03, 2006 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital.
She will be laid to rest in St. Alphonsus Cemetery with Reverend Greg Simien officiating the services.
She is survived by two daughters, Velma Broussard and Jeanette Rost; seven grandchildren, Eddie Broussard, Wayman Rost, Diane McClinton, Cynthia Dubois, Kara Potter, Craig Rost, and Lana Menard; eighteen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Augustin (Black) Vincent; father, Isaac Baker; mother, Lousie Bourque; one son, Floyd Mouton; one daughter, Flaudry Mouton; one grandson, Gary Broussard; and two brothers, Clarence Baker and Roland Baker.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Thursday, August 3rd from 4:30p.m. until 10:00p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00p.m.; Friday, August 4th from 8:00a.m. until time of services.
