services will be held Monday,
August 07, 2006 at a 10:30 a.m.
Mass of Christian Burial at St.
Mary Magdalen Catholic Church
honoring the life of Cecile Smith
McLain, 81, who died August 04,
2006 at Our Lady of Lourdes
Regional Medical Center.
She will be laid to rest in St.
Mary Magdalen Cemetery with
Reverend Kevin Bordelon
officiating the services.
She is survived by one son,
Allen McLain and his wife Laura
of Abbeville; one daughter, Violet
McLain Johnson and her
husband Charles of
Ponchatoula; twelve
grandchildren; and one great
great grandchild.
She was preceded in death
by her husband, Allen Argo
McLain; parents, George and
Victoria Noel Smith; one brother,
Ed Smith; two sisters, Eunice
Moore and Aline Broussard; and
one grandchild, KatherineTess
Johnson.
The family requests that
visiting hours be observed at
Vincent Funeral Home, 209
South St. Charles, Abbeville,
Monday, August 7th from 8:00
a.m. until time of services.
