Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Irene Rita Belaire Broussard, 73, who died Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Lafayette General Medical Center. She will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.

She is survived by her three sons, Wendell Hargrave and wife Dana of Abbeville, Mark Hargrave of Abbeville and Brandon Hargrave of Abbeville; and three grandchildren, Kasie Hargrave, Kayne Hargrave and Aaron Hargrave.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Belaire; and mother, Lucille Simon.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, February 26, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. The family will reopen on Saturday, February 27, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
