Will P. Lemaire

July 4, 1921 — February 25, 2010

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Will Paul Lemaire, 88, who died Thursday, February 25, 2010 at the Gueydan Memorial Guest Home. He will be laid to rest at Hebert Cemetery with Deacon Paul Roy Eleazar officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Una Hebert Lemaire of Kaplan; daughters, Sandra Lemaire and her spouse Slim of Kaplan, Deborah Salas and her spouse Roy of Lafayette and Cecile Blackmer and her spouse John of Kaplan; sons, Bob Paul Lemaire and his spouse Dolly of Lafayette and Wayne J. Lemaire and his spouse Bernell of Kaplan; five sisters, Irene Hebert of Kaplan, Helen Hernandez of Abbeville, Faye Trahan and Lou LeBlanc of Meaux, and Leanna Bourque of Kaplan; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Evelia Lemaire and the former Etta Trahan; three brothers, Lee Lemaire, Raymond Lemaire and Maxie Lemaire; and two sisters, Virginia Frederick and Eunice Guidry.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, February 26, 2010 from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 6:30 p.m.; Saturday, February 27, from 8 a.m. until services.
