Ethel Eve Duhon Crawford

February 5, 1909 — March 3, 2010

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 6, 2010 at an 11:00 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Ethel Eve Duhon Crawford, 101, who died Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Maison du Monde Living Center.

She will be laid to rest at St. Alphonsus Cemetery with Reverend Joseph Breaux officiating the services.

She is survived by her sons, John Dewey Simon of Port Arthur, TX and Raleigh Joseph Simon and his wife, Sybil of Nederland, TX; three daughters, Mrs. Roy (Leenora) Bertrand of Abbeville, Mrs. Louis (Georgie) Oltremari of Port Arthur, TX and Joyce Hebert of Port Arthur, TX; twenty-six grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Eddie Simon; second husband, L.J. Riviere; third husband, John Crawford; father, Emile Duhon; mother, Eve Clark; and siblings, Dewey Duhon, Duley Duhon, Irvin Duhon, Jessie Duhon, Jasper Duhon, Ewell Duhon, Aswell Duhon, Forrest Duhon, Jeffery Duhon, Lula Adams, Bernice Davidson and Ruby Duhon.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, March 5, 2010 from 1:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 P.M.; Saturday, March 6, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
