Eunice Saltzman Mcdaniel

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Eunice Saltzman McDaniel, 80, who died Monday, March 8, 2010 at Lafayette General Medical Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Randall LeBlanc, Marcus McDaniel, Scott McDaniel, Brigg McDaniel, Grant McDaniel and Dustin Guidry. Honorary pallbearers will be Hunter McDaniel, Brock McDaniel and Brody McDaniel.

She is survived by four sons, Allen McDaniel and his wife, Celestine of Cow Island, Glenn McDaniel and his wife, Sherry of Kaplan, Wallace McDaniel and his wife, Debbie of Scott and Ted McDaniel of Houston, Texas; one daughter, Laura M. and her husband, Clifford LeBlanc of Kaplan; four brothers, Nelson Saltzman of Gueydan, Dalton Saltzman of Kaplan, Eddie Saltzman of Kaplan and Pierre Saltzman Jr. of Sulphur; one sister, Serena Rogers of New Iberia; seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace McDaniel; her parents, Pierre Saltzman and the former Emalita Adams; and two sisters, Matilda Trahan and Dorothy Monceaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 6 p.m.; Wednesday, March 10, 2010 from 8 a.m. until services.
