KAPLAN — Roy Bertrand, 79, died Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Ellagene Richard Bertrand; his two daughters, Brenda and her husband ,Johnnie Hardee and Judy and her husband, Danny Guilbeaux; one son, Willis Bertrand and his wife Lisa; five grandchildren, Abigail Hardee Caputo, Matthew Hardee, Brent Guilbeaux, Travis Bertrand and Laine Bertrand; and four great grandchildren, Catalina, Gus and Max Caputo and Ashton Hargrave-Bertrand.
